Senior Full-Stack Laravel Developer (U.S. Pacific Time)

HEROIC Cybersecurity (HEROIC.com) is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Laravel Developer to contribute to the development of advanced SaaS-based cybersecurity platforms. This role is tailored for an experienced full-stack developer who excels in a fast-paced, AI-driven setting and is dedicated to constructing secure, scalable, and intelligent web applications. As a senior developer, your responsibilities will span the entire application stack - encompassing backend PHP/Laravel, frontend implementation, database design, DevOps, and production systems. You will also make use of AI tools and workflows to optimize development processes, minimize bugs, and hasten deployment timelines. This role operates within U.S. Pacific Time business hours (9 AM to 6 PM PT) and entails complete system ownership, including daily bug resolution, server and database administration, and security patching. Your role is expected to be divided as follows: 80% coding, 10% architecture, and 10% team communication. Your duties will include: - Full-stack development for HEROIC's SaaS cybersecurity platform (Laravel, MySQL, Vue/JS, Postgres, Cassandra) - Utilizing AI coding assistants (such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT) to enhance velocity, code quality, and maintainability - Taking charge of daily bug triage, security patching, and hotfix resolution - Proactively managing servers and databases (Linux, Apache/Nginx, MySQL, Postgres, Cassandra) - Collaborating with U.S.-based management, product teams, and India-based engineers - Integrating third-party APIs, tools, and AI services - Writing clean, well-documented, testable code and implementing automated testing when possible - Staying updated on the Laravel ecosystem, AI-assisted coding trends, and security best practices - Participating in daily standups, planning meetings, and post-release reviews - Ensuring adherence to a secure software development lifecycle for the SAAS-based cybersecurity platforms - Taking ownership in the development of HEROIC's software applications and technical environments Qualifications: - 8+ years of full-stack PHP development, with at least 3 years in Laravel - Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, JavaScript (Vue.js or similar), Git, and RESTful APIs - Experience in server and database management (Linux, Apache/Nginx, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Cassandra) - Familiarity with AI-enhanced coding tools and modern DevOps workflows (CI/CD, GitHub Actions) - Comfortable working independently during U.S. hours and overseeing mission-critical systems - Previous experience in a security-focused or SaaS product environment is advantageous - Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field HEROIC offers: - Position Type: Full-time - Location: Pune, India (Remote - Work from anywhere) - Work Schedule: 9 AM - 6 PM Pacific Time (U.S. hours) - Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience - Professional Growth: Exposure to cutting-edge AI, cybersecurity, and SaaS technologies - Culture: Fast-paced, innovative, mission-driven team About HEROIC: HEROIC Cybersecurity (HEROIC.com) is revolutionizing cybersecurity by adopting a predictive and proactive approach to intelligently secure users before threats materialize.
