Role Overview

Senior Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple engineering teams, ensuring high productivity and a collaborative, innovation-driven culture.
  
• Own and drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle: architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and scaling.
  
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define technical requirements, set milestones, and prioritize engineering efforts.
  
• Ensure high code quality, scalable architectures, and robust performance across platforms (mobile, wearable, cloud).
  
• Coach, mentor, and grow team members; help attract and retain top engineering talent.
  
• Foster a strong DevOps, CI/CD, and automation culture for efficient and reliable releases.
  
• Maintain technical documentation, enforce coding standards, and conduct code and design reviews.
  
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies in immersive computing and apply them strategically to product development.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in engineering management roles.
  
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional engineering teams in high-growth environments.
  
• Strong technical background in

  backend (Node.js, Python, Go)

  and/or

  front-end (React, WebGL, Unity/Unreal)

  technologies.
• Experience building AR/VR/XR products or 3D rendering pipelines is a major plus.
  
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, scalability, and performance optimization.
  
• Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and product-driven development.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  

Nice to Have

• Exposure to spatial computing, computer vision, or machine learning.
  
• Experience with real-time systems, game engines, or 3D graphics.
  
• Contributions to open-source or immersive tech communities.
