Job Description

Role & responsibilities Assist the project engineering team during the design phase, including preparing SLDs, wiring diagrams, and equipment layouts, ensuring practical feasibility during implementation. Responsible for selecting appropriate Current Transformers (CTs) and Potential Transformers (PTs) based on system requirements such as load, accuracy class, and burden. Plan and ensure correct placement within LT/HT motor panels for reliable metering and protection. Collaborate with the site execution team to oversee the proper installation, wiring, and testing of CTs/PTs, Multifunction meters and ensure compliance with project standards and safety guidelines. Preferred candidate profile Knowledge of LT and HT motor panel design and their operation Proficient in the selection, sizing, and placement of CTs and PTs based on system parameters (voltage, current, burden, accuracy class) Knowledge of CT ratios, accuracy classes (e.g., 0.2s, 0.5), burden calculation, and safety considerations Experience in mounting CTs/PTs in panels for metering, protection relays, and energy monitoring systems (MFM) Skilled in LT (415V) and HT (up to 11kV/33kV) motor control panel work including VFD, Soft Starters, and MCCs Familiar with relay coordination, panel testing (primary/secondary injection), and cable termination practices Able to interpret and modify SLDs, GA drawings, and wiring diagrams Good understanding of IS/IEC standards, electrical safety, and earthing practices Strong troubleshooting ability and on-site execution coordination Preference will be given to Immediate Joiners
