Job Description We are looking for a skilled Pump Testing Engineer to perform hands-on pump performance, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in pump technologies, testing methodologies, and operational processes, ensuring top-quality performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities Conduct performance testing and validation of various types of industrial pumps (e.g., centrifugal, submersible, positive displacement). Set up and maintain pump testing equipment and instrumentation. Analyze test data and prepare comprehensive test reports. root cause analysis of pump failures or anomalies. Collaborate with the R&D to optimize pump performance. Understand and apply hydraulic principles in pump performance evaluation. Inspect and test motor systems used in pumps. Ensure adherence to relevant standards such as ISO, API, and other testing protocols. Maintain accurate test records and documentation. Monitor test safety protocols and ensure a safe testing environment. Required Skills & Experience Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent. Experience: 5-6 years pump industry. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hydraulics and motor systems. Understanding of pump performance curves and parameters. Hands-on experience with testing equipment, flow meters, and pressure sensors. Familiarity with standards (ISO 5199, API 610, etc.). Proficiency in data analysis and report generation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in Industrial IoT-based pump monitoring systems. Knowledge of tools/software like SCADA, MATLAB, or similar pump performance analysis tools.
