As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in architecting, implementing, and maintaining the stability, scalability, and availability of our products. You will own multiple services and have the autonomy to implement solutions that benefit the business and our customers. You will be responsible for solving complex problems, creating automation to prevent recurrence, and planning for system reliability across multi-datacenter environments.
*Architect, write, and implement software that improves the stability, scalability, and availability of our products.
*Own multiple services and have the autonomy to implement solutions that benefit the business and our customers.
*Solve occurring problems and create solutions and automation to prevent them from happening again.
*Plan for reliability for systems to work across multi-datacenter/environment and handle outages.
*Support on-call rotations as needed. *Conceptual understanding of infrastructure and how it works, including DNS (Authoritative and Non-Authoritative DNS, Dynamic and bind DNS, Forwarder).
*Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GITOPS principles.
*Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless software delivery. *Contribute to the development and maintenance of infrastructure documentation.
*10+ years of experience in a relevant technical position.
*Hands-on automation experience.
*Banking background (preferred).
*Deep knowledge of Linux internals (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows internals.
*Comprehensive understanding of DevOps/SRE principles, IaC, and12-Factor Principles. *Excellent experience with Ansible, Jenkins, and Terraform.
*Strong understanding of KVM, Libvirt, oVirt, KubeVirt, OVM, and Openstack.
*Strong understanding of CEPH and GlusterFS.
*Strong understanding of Red Hat Satellite, Spacewalk, and Nexus.
*Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift.
*Strong understanding of ELK stack (Auditbeat, FileBeat).
*Understanding of OS Compliance Policies (CIS Benchmark).
*Excellent scripting skills in Groovy, Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
*Understanding of API communications (Rest/Soap).
*Deep dive issue resolution skills, log analysis.
*Agile methodologies experience.
*Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
