Senior Developer - Software Tester

As a Senior Developer - Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in contributing measurable value to facilitate the delivery of new and enhanced features to our customers by the software development team. Your responsibilities will include conducting complex functional testing and test automation, designing test strategies for software applications, planning and creating test cases for both large and small components, programming test automation frameworks, developing and executing test automation scripts, and offering guidance to less experienced Developer Software Testers (DSTs) to enhance code quality. You will be responsible for selecting testing tools and providing test automation solutions, creating and executing functional test scenarios based on application requirements, performing manual testing, reviewing functional features for regression test cases, and collaborating with the scrum team in various scrum activities. Additionally, you will analyze software systems, coordinate with other teams to improve design, create automation scripts using the Serenity framework, manage regression execution, and set up automation tests across different devices. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred) in Information Technology or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in Software Development & Quality Assurance. Expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin BDD, Appium, eclipse, IntelliJ, Rest Assured, Postman, and strong programming skills in Java and Selenium are essential. You should also have experience with Agile software development, DevOps, Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Test Driven Development (TDD), JIRA, RDMS, NoSQL, and various testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong problem-solving ability, be a team player, offer insights on product designs, and have experience in validating microservices patterns. Traveling up to 25% may be required for this role.
