Senior Database Engineer (MongoDB)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled MongoDB DatabaseAdministrator (DBA) with proficiency in NoSQL databases to join our dynamicteam. In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of MongoDB, NoSQLquery languages, and distributed database systems to support, optimize, andmanage our growing data infrastructure. As a key player, you will collaboratewith cross-functional teams to design efficient data storage solutions,maintain high-performance databases, and ensure data integrity and security. Key Responsibilities: Manage and optimize MongoDB and other NoSQLdatabases to meet performance, scalability, and security requirements. Collaborate with developers to design schemas,perform data modeling, and implement denormalization strategies tailored toNoSQL systems. Ensure high availability and reliability ofdistributed databases, particularly in cloud environments such as AWS DynamoDB,ScyllaDB, and CockroachDB. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues,improve query optimization, and maintain system uptime. Apply your knowledge of CAP theorem andconsistency models to ensure efficient data handling and robust systemarchitecture. Stay updated on the latest NoSQL technologies,trends, and best practices to ensure continued optimization and scalability ofour database infrastructure. Technical Skills & Expertise: 4+ years of hands-on experience working withNoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB. Deep understanding of database concepts like CAPtheorem, data modeling, and consistency models. Proficiency in MongoDB query language and otherNoSQL query languages. Experience with cloud-based NoSQL databases suchas AWS DynamoDB, Couchbase, ScyllaDB, YugabyteDB. Strong ability to analyze data requirements anddesign scalable, efficient data storage solutions. Ability to work closely with cross-functionalteams, including developers, data analysts, and DevOps engineers.
