The Data & Decision Science team at C2FO is a multifaceted and collaborative group consisting of Data Engineering, Data Science & Analytics, Data Operations, and Business Intelligence pillars. With a presence in India and the US, our team plays a crucial role in driving C2FO's global growth by developing scalable data solutions and promoting data-driven innovation. As a Senior Data Scientist at C2FO, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse set of challenges ranging from traditional machine learning applications like forecasting and credit scoring to cutting-edge uses of large language models (LLMs) for customer engagement and retention. You will operate in a fast-paced environment that values initiative, ownership, and curiosity. Key Responsibilities: - Develop machine learning models and scalable data solutions for critical business problems such as dynamic discounting, customer retention, and credit scoring - Design and iterate on minimum viable products (MVPs) to address real business pain points - Collaborate across teams to translate complex business challenges into data science problems - Ensure data validation and quality by working closely with Data Engineering and Data Governance teams - Conduct in-depth analyses to derive actionable insights from complex datasets - Foster a culture of learning, innovation, and experimentation Qualifications: - 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science or applied machine learning - Proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and machine learning concepts - Experience deploying machine learning models in production environments - Strong skills in Python, SQL, Pandas, and relevant data manipulation tools - Familiarity with libraries such as Scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, etc. - Experience in hypothesis testing and experimentation frameworks - Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities - Bonus: Background in fintech or financial services At C2FO, we prioritize the well-being of our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package, flexible work options, volunteer time off, and more.
