SENIOR BOILER OPERATOR

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain steam boilers and associated equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
• Maintain optimum steam pressure and temperature as per plant requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on boilers, pumps, valves, and associated systems.
• Detect and troubleshoot operational issues, performing minor repairs or escalating to maintenance if required.
• Maintain boiler logs, daily operation sheets, and safety checklists.
• Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations as per statutory norms.

Requirements:

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field.

Certification: Mandatory Boiler Attendant Certificate (1st Class / 2nd Class )

Experience: 5–10 years of experience in operating industrial boilers.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of steam systems and boiler operations.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and legal compliance requirements.
• Basic troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Ability to read gauges, meters, and schematics.
