Senior Azure .NET developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure .NET Developer with a strong background in developing scalable cloud-based applications and services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with .NET (8.0, 6.0), .NET Core, and Azure services, along with a solid understanding of AI/ML and OpenAI large language models (LLMs). The role also requires hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and database technologies. Prior team leadership or mentoring experience is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using .NET 8.0, 6.0, and .NET Core frameworks.
  
• Build and deploy microservices and serverless functions leveraging Azure Functions and other Azure services such as Azure API Management (APIM), Cosmos DB, and Azure DevOps.
  
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools to ensure smooth, automated deployments.
  
• Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker.
  
• Work closely with data teams and architects to design solutions incorporating MSSQL Server and Cosmos DB.
  
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities and OpenAI large language models into applications to enhance functionality.
  
• Ensure high code quality, unit testing, and adherence to best practices in software development.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, UX/UI designers, and QA to deliver high-quality software products.
  
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, and support team lead activities when required.
  
• Participate in architectural discussions and provide input on system design and enhancements.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
  
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and Azure innovations to continuously improve the product and processes.
  

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in .NET development

  , including expertise in .NET 8.0 and 6.0, and .NET Core.
• Strong hands-on experience with

  Azure services

  , including but not limited to:
• Azure API Management (APIM)
  
• Azure Functions
  
• Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)
  
• Expertise in containerization technologies like

  Docker

  .
• Proficient in database management with

  MSSQL Server

  and

  Cosmos DB

  .
• Practical experience with

  AI, Machine Learning (ML), and OpenAI Large Language Models (LLMs)

  .
• Knowledge of best practices in cloud-native application development.

  or mentoring is a plus.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
