Senior Architect

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of complex architectural projects from conceptualization to construction documentation.
• Manage and mentor junior architects, designers, and technical staff.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Review and coordinate architectural plans, specifications, and materials for compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project vision is effectively executed.
• Present design proposals and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to regulatory guidelines and building codes.
• Integrate sustainable and innovative design practices into all projects.
• Provide strategic input on project pursuits, proposals, and firm design direction.

• Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Architect with [Insert Country/State] registration (RA, ARB, etc.).
• Minimum 7–10 years of architectural experience, including lead roles on significant projects.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and BIM platforms.
• Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, materials, and codes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
