we're looking for an experienced Android Engineer to join our Platform Team, someone who thrives at building scalable SDKs, mobile infrastructure components, and tooling that empowers multiple product teams. you'll be a key player in crafting SDKs and reusable components across Android and Flutter ecosystems, with an emphasis on performance, security, and maintainability.
Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Android SDKs, libraries, and reusable platform modules.

Collaborate with multiple product teams to extract repeatable patterns and abstract them into common tools.

Build and maintain cross-platform components in Flutter, ensuring alignment across iOS and Android.

Optimize SDKs for performance, memory usage, battery efficiency, and reliability.

Apply OOP principles, SOLID practices, and clean architecture patterns (MVVM/MVI).

Implement robust error handling, thread management, and lifecycle-aware components.

Ensure high observability by adding instrumentation and logging.

Work closely with QA, CI/CD, and DevOps for seamless releases and SDK delivery.

Stay ahead of Android platform updates and proactively integrate platform changes.
Requirements:

5-8 years of professional Android development experience.

Proficiency in Kotlin and Java with strong understanding of Android SDK internals.

Solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, and clean code principles.

Experience with Gradle, multi-module architectures, and build optimizations.

Proven track record of building, maintaining, and distributing Android SDKs used across multiple apps.

Good understanding of app lifecycle, background tasks, concurrency, and memory management.

Familiarity with Flutter and Dart, or willingness to work in cross-platform environments.

Experience with system-level debugging using tools like Android Profiler, LeakCanary, StrictMode, etc

Comfortable with RESTFul APIs, offline storage, Proguard/R8, SSL pinning, and secure coding practices.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and release versioning.
