Job Description

About the Role:

SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using
Selenium with Java
.
Develop and execute
API test cases
and validate responses.
Write and optimize complex
SQL queries
for data validation and testing.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Participate in code reviews, contribute to CI/CD processes, and maintain test environments in
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs; perform thorough regression testing when issues are resolved.
Work in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Required Skills & Experience:

4-5 years
of experience in Automation and Manual Testing.
Strong hands-on experience in
Selenium WebDriver with Java
coding skills are a must.
Proficient in
writing and debugging SQL queries
.
Solid understanding and experience in
API Testing
(Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
Experience working with any
cloud platform
(AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, etc.
Exposure to performance testing tools is a plus.

Candidates will be required to take a coding test as part of the selection process. Strong Java coding skills are essential.
