Purpose of This Job
You will be working with the world class engineering team in designing and developing high quality modern mobile applications in Fin-tech Your contribution to the Android development team will have a direct impact of touching millions of users
Responsibilities
Develop Android applications using Kotlin with a focus on Jetpack Compose for UI development Implement features following the MVVM architecture with Clean Architecture principles Integrate with REST APIs using Retrofit and manage dependency injection using Hilt Write unit tests to ensure high code quality and maintainability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Participate in code reviews, identifying potential bugs and optimization opportunities Troubleshoot and debug application issues in a timely manner Stay up-to-date with the latest Android tools and development best prac tice s
Qualifications
1-3 years of professional experience in Android development Strong proficiency in Kotlin Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose for modern Android UI development Solid understanding of MVVM and Clean Architecture principles Proficient in dependency injection using Hilt Experience with Retrofit for API communication Familiarity with Android development best practices, including responsive layouts and UI/UX principles Strong understanding of unit testing and experience with testing frameworks (e g , JUnit, Mockito) Good to have (not mandatory) Previous startup experience would be a huge plus Previous exposure to the Fintech industry would be nice Have published at least one large scale Android app
