Job Title: Science Teacher (ICSE Curriculum)

Position Type: Full-time

Classes: VI to X

Subject: General Science / Physics / Chemistry / Biology (as applicable)

Reporting to: Principal Director/ Academic Coordinator

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with specialization in [Physics / Chemistry / Biology]
• B.Ed. (mandatory)
• Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) is preferred for higher classes

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in Science aligned with the ICSE curriculum.
• Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and stay aligned with the latest ICSE syllabus and exam patterns.
• Use diverse teaching methodologies including practical demonstrations, multimedia tools, and project-based learning.
• Prepare lesson plans, question papers, worksheets, and assignments.
• Conduct and evaluate regular class tests, term exams, lab activities, and project submissions.
• Maintain student records, track progress, and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
• Organize and supervise science exhibitions, competitions, and other related events.
• Attend parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and school events.
• Ensure discipline and maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience teaching Science in an ICSE/ISC-affiliated school
• Familiarity with CISCE guidelines, marking scheme, and board requirements

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to use smart boards, visual aids, and digital tools effectively
• Empathy, patience, and a student-centric approach
• Team spirit and willingness to collaborate with faculty members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
