Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Quality to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest quality and safety standards, complying with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement in quality processes. Key Responsibilities:Quality Assurance & Control: Oversee and implement quality control procedures for production, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to maintain quality consistency. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality assurance. Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS). Regulatory Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO, BRC, and other relevant food safety regulations. Prepare for and lead internal and external audits , addressing any non-conformities. Maintain accurate documentation for quality control records, certifications, and regulatory reports. Process Improvement & Training: Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality. Conduct training sessions for production staff on quality standards, hygiene, and food safety protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Food Technology, Dairy Science, Microbiology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance within the dairy or cheese manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control methodologies, and laboratory testing procedures. Experience in handling audits, certifications, and compliance documentation. Skills & Competencies: Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Proficiency in quality management systems (QMS) and food safety software. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
