Sap Fico Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and document current business requirements to support SAP solution design.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

• Help configure, enhance, and custom develop solutions in the SAP Financial Accounting module in S/4HANA.

• Review FSDs and prepare WRICEF documents.

• Help migrate financial data from legacy ERP systems to S/4HANA.

• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure end-to-end process alignment.

• Document functional designs, test cases, and user procedures.

• Participate in testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.

• Support end-user training.

• Support business users as they complete user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Support a successful go-live.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of SAP technical consulting experience with a focus on FI/CO modules.

• Extensive experience in both S/4HANA Greenfield and Brownfield SAP S/4HANA projects, including global rollout initiatives with full-cycle configuration and deployment.

• Strong background delivering SAP solutions across Latin America region, with deep understanding of localization requirements, tax regulations, and statutory compliance in diverse geographies.

• Demonstrated expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI), including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Accounting, with the ability to design and configure end-to-end financial processes in S/4HANA.

• Strong understanding of tax configuration in SAP, including indirect taxes, withholding taxes, and integration with local regulatory compliance requirements.

• Hands-on experience implementing electronic invoicing (e-Invoice) solutions, including integration with government tax portals and ensuring compliance with country-specific digital reporting mandates.

• Proven ability to analyse, design, and implement Latin America country-specific legal and business process requirements within SAP, ensuring alignment with local compliance and audit standards.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate business requirements, technical concepts, and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, contributing to a positive team environment and consistently supporting project goals and timelines.

Preferred Attributes

• SAP S/4HANA certification or training.

• Previous work in multinational corporations with global SAP templates.
