About the Role: SAP BW/4HANA Architect

SAP BW/4HANA Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and configuration of SAP BW/4HANA environments, ensuring seamless integration with third-party applications.
• Analyze and translate intricate business requirements into innovative and efficient data warehousing solutions.
• Design, build, and optimize data models and reporting solutions, adhering to

  LSA and LSA++ Architecture principles

  .
• Develop complex data flows, ETL processes, and Process Chains to ensure efficient data loading and monitoring.
• Implement advanced performance tuning techniques in SAP BW/HANA to optimize system efficiency.
• Provide expert technical solutions, estimations, and support for functional testing and user acceptance testing.
• Utilize strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Overall 10+ years of experience

  in SAP BW, with

  6-7 years of hands-on experience

  in SAP BW Classic (7.4, 7.5) and

  BW/4HANA

  .
• Demonstrated full lifecycle implementation experience in both SAP BW Classic and BW/4HANA.
• Strong expertise in

  BW/4HANA Architecture

  , data modeling, extraction, ETL processes, and reporting.
• Proficiency in all BW key areas, including

  A-DSOs, Open ODSs, Composite Providers, and AMDP scripting

  .
• Expertise in

  Delta concepts

  and experience in writing ABAP routines, BADI, and I-steps.
• Strong experience in

  native HANA modeling

  (CDS, SQL Scripting, Graphical view-modelling, SDA extraction).
• Solid understanding of ETL processes within SAP BW and experience integrating SAP BW with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Ability to monitor and optimize SAP BW performance, coupled with excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) for reporting and dashboard development.
• Hands-on expertise in Standard and Custom Planning Functions, Planning Sequences, Filters, Data Slices, Characteristic relationships, Currency Translation, and Planning Layouts.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills to interact independently with business stakeholders and clients.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify business challenges and structure relevant data for client deliverables.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset with a continuous focus on improvement.
