Job Description

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, manage, and execute SAP system migrations including
OS/DB migrations
,
Unicode conversions
, and
SAP HANA/S/4HANA migrations
.
Perform system installations, upgrades, and post-migration activities using
SAP tools (SWPM, SUM, DMO)
.
Collaborate with SAP functional and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless migration.
Perform system copies, client copies, backups/restores, and tuning activities.
Manage SAP kernel upgrades, support package applications, and system refreshes.
Troubleshoot Basis-related issues during and after migration.
Document all migration processes and changes.

Required Skills:

6+ years of SAP Basis experience with at least 2 end-to-end
SAP system migration
projects.
Strong knowledge of
SAP NetWeaver
,
SAP HANA
, and
S/4HANA
architecture.
Hands-on with
SAP Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM)
,
Software Update Manager (SUM)
,
Database Migration Option (DMO)
.
Experience with
OS/DB migrations
and
Unicode conversions
.
Proficiency in managing SAP systems on Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
Familiarity with database platforms:
SAP HANA
,
Oracle
,
MS SQL
, or
DB2
.
