Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant (3-8 Years Experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 3 to 8 years of professional experience to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications, providing technical support, and ensuring seamless integration within SAP modules. The role demands strong problem-solving skills, solid ABAP expertise, and experience working in collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• ABAP Development:

  Design, code, and maintain custom SAP applications and enhancements using SAP ABAP programming language.

• Technical Analysis:

  Analyze business requirements and transform them into technical specifications and efficient code.

• SAP Enhancements:

  Perform modifications, enhancements, and upgrades in SAP systems using User Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Framework.

• Reports & Forms:

  Develop and maintain custom SAP reports, ALV reports, and SAPscript/SmartForms/Adobe Forms.

• Data Migration:

  Design and execute data migration strategies using LSMW, BDC, or other ETL tools.

• Integration:

  Develop interfaces between SAP and external systems (ALE/IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services).

• Debugging & Troubleshooting:

  Provide debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for SAP systems.

• Unit Testing & Documentation:

  Create and maintain technical documentation, unit test cases, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and other developers to ensure successful delivery of SAP solutions.

• Version Management:

  Participate in SAP upgrades, implementation of new functionalities, and system integration.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Experience:

  3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

• Core ABAP Skills:

  Proficiency in ABAP programming, including ABAP Objects, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms (RICEF).

• Advanced ABAP:

  Experience with Web Dynpro, SAP Fiori, CDS views, AMDP, and OData services is highly desirable.

• Data Integration:

  Familiarity with SAP PI/PO, SAP Gateway, and interfacing techniques.

• SAP Modules:

  Hands-on experience working with core SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, CO, PPQM, etc.

• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

  Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and provide effective technical solutions.

• Communication:

  Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with business users, technical teams, and management.

• Education:

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Certifications:

  SAP certifications in ABAP or related areas are a plus.

Preferred Skillsets:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Support and migration.
• Experience with SAP UI5 or Fiori apps development.
