Role & responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting Identify new business opportunities through market research Build a database of potential customers (contractors, builders, developers, municipalities) Initiate contact via calls, emails, and field visits Client Engagement & Relationship Building Support meetings with prospects to understand project requirements Present product offerings clearly and persuasively Maintain regular follow-up to build trust and move leads down the funnel Product Knowledge & Presentation Learn technical specs and benefits of poles, lighting systems, and accessories Assist in product demos or site-specific recommendations Handle basic objections and questions confidently Sales Support Activities Help prepare and send quotations, proposals, and tender documents Coordinate internally with the sales, logistics, and technical teams Track deal progress and push for closures Reporting & CRM Maintain accurate records of leads, calls, visits, and deal stages Submit daily/weekly activity reports and performance updates Analyze sales trends and identify areas for improvement Target Contribution Work closely with the sales manager to contribute to monthly and quarterly targets Suggest strategies to improve outreach or close faster Preferred candidate profile Were looking for a candidate who is: Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field Confident and well-spoken , with strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable with fieldwork, client visits , and interacting with contractors, engineers, and project managers Eager to learn about technical products such as lighting poles, fixtures, and installation systems Self-motivated , with a proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative Able to manage time effectively, follow up diligently, and work towards clear sales goals Basic knowledge of sales processes, CRM tools, or customer handling is a plus Prior exposure to infrastructure, electrical, or construction industries is a bonus (but not required)
