Role Purpose: As a software developer at Wipro, your role is to design, test, and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications that need to be deployed at client sites. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that the software meets 100% quality assurance parameters. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the requirements and design of the product/software and develop software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes. - Investigate problem areas throughout the software development life cycle and facilitate root cause analysis of system issues. - Collaborate with project managers and functional teams to obtain information on software capabilities and convert client requirements into feasible designs. - Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development by evaluating operational feasibility, developing test cases, and fixing errors or bugs. - Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status, and ensure timely, comprehensive documentation. - Report project status and progress to the team on a daily basis and provide feedback on usability and serviceability. - Capture client requirements and feedback continuously to ensure smooth and on-time delivery. - Participate in training to remain current on best practices and new programming languages. - Document solutions and software details comprehensively to aid in client understanding from proposal to implementation. - Maintain good quality interactions with customers through various communication channels and ensure timely responses to requests. Performance Parameters: 1. Continuous Integration, Deployment & Monitoring of Software: Achieve 100% error-free onboarding and implementation, adherence to release plans, and throughput percentages. 2. Quality & CSAT: Ensure on-time delivery, manage software effectively, troubleshoot queries, enhance customer experience, and complete assigned certifications for skill development. 3. MIS & Reporting: Generate MIS reports on time and maintain accurate documentation.
