Job Description

Role & responsibilities As a Hydraulic Cylinders Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales of hydraulic & pneumatic cylinders and related products, building strong customer relationships, and leading the sales team to achieve targets. You will also manage activities like rightfully applying the cylinder products, offering technical inputs to applying and selection of the right parameters for the cylinder products from the standard catalogue, evaluating and providing support on non-standard cylinders that are application specific, application engineering support, lead generation, order processing, customer after sales services and market research. Preferred candidate profile Skills and Qualifications: Education: Minimum of A Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, or related field) or a business-related discipline is often preferred. Post Graduate in Engineering or A Business Management Degree with a high level/Acute Traits of Commercial Acumen & Negotiations for winning deals is a must. Experience: Relevant experience in sales, especially in the hydraulic or industrial products sector. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, components, and applications. Sales Skills: Excellent sales, smart negotiation, and communication skills. Customer Relationship Management Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Leadership Skills (if applicable): Ability to lead and motivate a team. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve customer problems Management Presentation of Data and Analysis & Compiling Reports vis a vis the Goals and Budgets of the Division Responsibility includes: Accountability for Profits Generation and improving Market Share for the products in their application areas, Verticals and tie ups with specific customers on capacity allotment and on long term basis. Key Responsibilities include: Sales and Revenue Generation: Achieving sales targets, developing and implementing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth for hydraulic cylinder products. Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and understanding customer needs. Technical Expertise: Providing technical guidance and support to customers regarding product selection, applications, and troubleshooting. Market Research and Analysis: Identifying potential markets, analyzing market trends, and understanding competitive landscapes. Lead Generation and Qualification: Identifying and generating new sales leads, qualifying leads, and developing sales pipelines. Order Processing and Management: Managing the sales process from initial inquiry to order fulfilment. Team Leadership: Leading and motivating a sales team, providing training and coaching, and setting performance goals. Sales Planning and Forecasting: Developing sales plans, forecasting future sales, and tracking sales performance. Reporting and Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing sales data, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting on sales performance. Negotiation and Closing Deals: Negotiating pricing, contracts, terms, and conditions with customers and closing sales.
