Role & responsibilities Sales Strategy Development & Execution : Develop and implement sales strategies for the assigned region to meet or exceed sales targets. Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging market trends, and customer needs. Coordinate with senior management to align regional goals with overall corporate objectives. Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including OEMs, distributors, contractors, and engineers. Regularly visit key clients to assess their needs, resolve issues, and ensure high customer satisfaction. Negotiate and close high-value sales agreements, ensuring win-win outcomes for both the company and customers. Market and Competitor Analysis : Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies. Report on competitorproducts, pricing, and marketing tactics, and suggest strategic responses. Product Knowledge & Technical Sales Support : Provide technical expertise on industrial valve products, including ball, gate, globe, and check valves, to customers and the sales team. Work closely with the engineering and product development teams to provide feedback from the field and assist in product innovation. Sales Forecasting & Reporting : Prepare regular sales forecasts and performance reports for regional activities, presenting results to senior management. Track KPIs and sales metrics to ensure goals are being met and propose corrective actions when necessary. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination : Coordinate with marketing, product management, logistics, and customer service departments to ensure smooth execution of orders and customer satisfaction. Facilitate communication between various departments to resolve customer issues, ensure timely delivery, and drive sales success. Attend Industry Events & Conferences : Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry conferences to promote products, network with potential customers, and gather market intelligence. Stay up to date with industry regulations, standards, and technological advancements. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the industrial sector, with a focus on valves, fluid control systems, or related products. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a regional or territory-based role. Strong understanding of industrial valve products (e.g., ball valves, gate valves, check valves, globe valves) and their applications in various industries (oil & gas, water treatment, power generation, etc.). Technical proficiency in interpreting valve specifications, product data, and understanding customer requirements.
