Sales Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Interaction:Greeting customers, providing assistance in locating items, answering questions about products and services, and offering recommendations based on customer needs.
• Sales & Transactions:Processing payments, handling returns and exchanges, and potentially offering advice on promotions or special offers.
• Store Operations:Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, restocking shelves, creating attractive displays, and potentially assisting with unpacking and organizing new deliveries.
• Customer Service:Addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Inventory Management:Assisting with inventory tracking, monitoring stock levels, and potentially placing orders for new merchandise.
• Teamwork:Collaborating with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards.
• Product Knowledge:Staying informed about product features, benefits, and promotions to effectively assist customers.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Communication skills:Good verbal communication and active listening skills are essential for interacting with customers and understanding their needs.
• Customer service skills:A friendly and helpful demeanor, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
• Sales skills:Ability to recommend products, answer questions, and potentially persuade customers to make purchases.
• Organizational skills:Ability to maintain a tidy sales floor, manage inventory, and assist with stocking and displays.
• Basic math skills:Ability to handle cash transactions and potentially calculate discounts or promotions.
• Product knowledge:Understanding the products or services offered by the store to effectively assist customers.
• Teamwork skills:Ability to work effectively with other team members to achieve common goals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
