Preferred candidates from Real Estate Industry Job Title : Safety Supervisor – Residential High-Rise Construction (MSB) Department : Safety Location : Guindy Reporting To : Safety Manager Experience : 5+ years in civil residential construction, with MSB experience Qualification : Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / relevant certification Job Purpose : To ensure compliance with all safety protocols and statutory regulations at the construction site, with a focus on minimizing risk, preventing accidents, and promoting a safety-first culture in high-rise residential construction (MSB) projects. Key Responsibilities : Site Safety Management : Enforce safety procedures at all stages of construction (excavation, shuttering, steel, concreting, finishing, etc.). Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits. Monitor use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and ensure adherence to safety norms. Compliance & Documentation : Maintain safety documentation such as risk assessments, incident reports, toolbox talk registers, etc. Ensure site complies with statutory regulations (Factories Act, BOCW, etc.). Training & Awareness : Conduct induction training and daily toolbox talks for workers and staff. Promote awareness of safety procedures and first aid. Incident Management : Respond to and investigate accidents or near-miss incidents. Identify root causes and recommend preventive measures. Coordination & Reporting : Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and HSE teams for implementing corrective actions. Report daily safety observations to the Safety Manager and Project Head. Scaffolding & Height Work Monitoring : Monitor safe practices in working at heights, scaffolding erection, and dismantling. Verify proper use of fall protection systems. Key Skills : Strong knowledge of safety protocols in MSB construction Familiarity with hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA) Ability to communicate safety norms to both workers and management Proactive attitude and attention to detail Preferred Certifications : NEBOSH / IOSH Fire & Safety Diploma First Aid and Emergency Response Certification Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Leave encashment Life insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
