Job Overview

Hands on experience in Operation and Maintenance of RO plant, STP, ETP and Incinerator plant. Having good knowledge on chemical safe handling methods and procedures. Having good knowledge on Autonomous Maintenance.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Ensure the safe operation of RO plant, STP, ETP and Incinerator plant and associate work and storage area.

· Ensure the operation and maintenance of RO plant, STP, ETP and Incinerator plant is carried out in accordance with the equipment operation manual.

· Ensure that only appropriate solid and liquid waste incinerated (solid, Halogenated, Non-Halogenated and Aqueous).

· Document and maintain the required records and logs as appended in the documents (pre-operation checklist, maintenance checklist and operation logs)

· Notify the supervisor or waste management In charge of any incinerator upsets, malfunctioning or required repairs.

· Ensure proper PPE is at all the time while working at Incinerator / Waste yard.

· Carry out timely inspection and maintain the records.

· Carry out preventive maintenance at scheduled intervals and record. Report it if unusual observation on the equipment.

· Fill and record the inspection and maintenance checklist and follow the checklist for weekly, monthly and annual inspection and maintenance.

· Make sure to lock out/tag out the unit as per the company’s existing procedure if there is a problem.

· · Solid waste from lab operation, paper, cardboard wasted are to be incinerated.

· · All waste are segregated at source and are to be placed in specifically identified waste containers with bags and in bins located throughout the facility.

· Prior to loading the waste batches in the incinerator, the incinerator operator will visually inspect the feed material; to ensure that it has does not contain inappropriate waste material.

· Liquid waste (Halogenated, Non-Halogenated and Aqueous) from all labs operation wasted to be incinerated.

· All liquid waste are segregated at source and are to be placed in specifically identified waste containers/drums located throughout the facility.

· Fill the liquid waste in to the specified tank with the help of air operated pump for the incineration.

· Responsible to maintain good housekeeping across RO Plant, CETP and Incinerator Plant.

· Willing to work as helper in other discipline whenever incinerator plant is not running.

Skills Requirement:

· Plant Operation and Trouble shooting

· Good Knowledge of SCADA/PLC based plant operation.

· Equipment Maintenance

· Spare Management

· Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, callipers etc.)

· Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

· Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)

Qualifications

· Should be Diploma in chemical / Mechanical engineering / ITI certificate course.

· Having 6/8 years of Plant Operation and Maintenance experience in the field of chemical/ferrous/non-ferrous/Glass industry.

· Basic English spoken and written skill.

· Basic Computer skill like MS word, excel, etc.
