Job Title: SAP S/4 Funds Management Consultant Location: Remote Employment Type: Part-time (4 5 months) Project Time Zone: Indian Standard Time (9:30 AM 5:30 PM) About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Part-time SAP Funds Management Consultant to join our project team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and integrity of the new SAP Funds Management implementation, which has been carried out by an external partner. Your primary focus will be on comprehensive testing, meticulous test script preparation, and diligent defect management to validate the solution against the customers business requirements. Key Responsibilities Test Script Preparation: Develop, document, and maintain detailed, clear, and comprehensive test scripts and test cases based on business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents. Ensure scripts cover various scenarios, including positive, negative, and edge cases specic to SAP FM functionalities (e.g., budget planning and distribution, commitment management, actuals posting, availability control, integration points with FI/CO, MM, IS-Retail). ¢ Test Execution: Execute planned test scripts across different testing phases (e.g., System Integration Testing - SIT, User Acceptance Testing - UAT, Regression Testing). Defect Management: Accurately identify, document, prioritise, and track defects using designated defect management tools. Collaborate with the internal project team and the implementation partner to ensure timely resolution and retesting of identified issues. ¢ ¢ Documentation: Maintain thorough and organised test documentation, including test results, defect logs, and sign-off records. Requirements Validation: Verify that the implemented SAP FUNDS MANAGEMENT solution meets all defined business requirements and functional specifications. Reporting: Provide regular updates on testing progress, defect status, and overall quality metrics to the project manager and stakeholders. ¢ Required Qualifications ¢ ¢ Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA Funds Management, including participation in at least one full lifecycle implementation or significant support/enhancement projects. Functional Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of core SAP FM processes, including: o o o Fund Centres and Commitment Items Budgeting (Budget Planning, Distribution, Supplement, Return) Commitment Management (Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Funds Reservations) o o o o Actuals Posting (Integration with FI/CO, MM, PS) Availability Control (AVC) Reporting within FM (e.g., FMRP, FMAVCR01). Integration with other modules such as FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), MM (Materials Management). ¢ ¢ ¢ Testing Acumen: Proven experience in software testing methodologies, test case design, test execution, and defect lifecycle management.
