Position Overview: We are in search of a skilled and detail-oriented Reservationist to become a valued member of our team, enhancing the smooth operation of our establishment. As the Reservationist, you will hold a pivotal role in managing various aspects of guest interactions and administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, overseeing optimal table turnover, and providing exceptional customer service. Additionally, you will handle inquiries, greet guests warmly, and ensure their needs are promptly attended to. Your organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and customer-focused approach will be instrumental in creating and maintaining a positive dining experience for our esteemed guests. Key Responsibilities: ● Manage incoming reservation requests through various channels such as phone, email, and online platforms, ensuring accuracy and effective allocation of dining space. ● Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing reservation inquiries, accommodating special requests from guests, and conveying relevant information. ● Plan and optimise table assignments strategically to maximise seating capacity while maintaining smooth service flow. ● Work closely with the host/hostess and waitstaff to communicate reservation specifics, special requests, and ensure a cohesive and orderly seating arrangement. ● Maintain an orderly reservation system, update guest details, and accurately document reservation history. ● Foster positive relationships with recurring patrons, recognize special occasions, and contribute to overall customer satisfaction. Qualifications: ● Ability to manage multiple reservation requests efficiently, maintain accurate records, and coordinate table assignments effectively. ● Ability to effectively communicate with guests via phone, email, and in person, conveying information clearly and professionally. ● Dedication to providing exceptional service to guests, including accommodating special requests and addressing inquiries promptly and courteously.
