Research And Development Scientist

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

a. Developing new biobased surfactant formulation for textile auxiliaries, paper, home care, institutional applications, Cosmetics & personal care product

b. Product optimization studies in the formulation lab & executing application trials for product development in the textile application lab across various stages of fabric processing.

c. Planning for daily experiments.

d. Developing customized SOPs and testing parameters for bio-based applications developed.

e. Collaborating with marketing team to run troubleshooting experiments for market products and existing applications.

f. Thorough knowledge and experience in handling of lab testing equipment and analytical instruments.

g. Through knowledge of surfactant chemistry & formulations.

h. Well aware with analytical skills including titration, preparation of standard solutions, standard calibration methods, etc.

i. Experience in overall handling of a surfactant-based formulation lab

Job requirements:

A successful candidate will have:

Qualification: M.Sc Chemistry / Cosmetic graduate / B.Tech 0r M.Tech Chemical Engg

Experience:

Thorough knowledge of Surfactant chemistry & Formulations

Experience in handling various types of formulations & allied chemistries

Thorough understanding and experience in handling various chemicals used in cleaning products

Experience in Lab to Plant Scale successful implementation of various recipes

Good Communication Skills

A good teamwork skill in fast paced & challenging environment.
