Relationship Manager

As a Wealth Manager at Merits Capital Private Limited, you will be responsible for understanding clients" financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences through detailed consultations. Your role will involve developing personalized financial planning strategies to help clients achieve both short-term and long-term financial objectives. Building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with clients will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will also be expected to educate clients on Merits Capital's financial products, investment options, and planning tools that are best suited to their individual needs. Leveraging the existing client base to generate new opportunities and expand business relationships will be crucial for driving business growth. Managing client portfolios by making informed investment decisions aligned with their financial plans, conducting thorough market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential threats, and providing ongoing financial guidance while adjusting plans as clients" life circumstances or market conditions change will also be part of your role. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in wealth management or a related field. MBA graduates are preferred, and relevant certifications such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or appropriate regulatory licenses (e.g., SEC) are a plus. A proven track record of exceeding sales targets, strong existing client base with established relationships in relevant industries, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite are required.
