Regional Sales Manager - Mumbai

The position of Sales & Marketing Management Assistant at Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa involves assisting with the soliciting and handling of sales opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that business is turned over properly and in a timely manner for efficient service delivery. You will play a crucial role in leading day-to-day sales activities to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that contribute to the achievement of sales objectives. Additionally, you will be expected to meet personal sales goals. To qualify for this role, you should possess a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field from an accredited university, along with at least 2 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area. Alternatively, a 4-year bachelor's degree in the mentioned fields is acceptable with no prior work experience required. Your core work activities will include building successful relationships that generate sales opportunities by collaborating with off-property sales channels, participating in sales calls, and developing relationships within the community. You will also be responsible for managing sales activities such as acquiring new business, supporting operational aspects of booked business, and utilizing market trends and target customer information to maximize revenue. In addition, providing exceptional customer service will be a key aspect of your role. You will support the company's service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. Your interactions with guests will be instrumental in obtaining feedback on product quality and service levels.
