Job Description

As a Sales Manager based in Chandigarh & Amritsar, your primary responsibility will be to drive business growth by taking on roles that generate revenue and expand growth opportunities within the company. You will serve as a persuasive Sales Representative, tasked with convincing potential clients to purchase advertising space and ensuring existing clients are satisfied with the advertising products and services offered. Your key responsibilities will include persuading clients to buy advertising space or time, identifying and reaching out to potential clients to offer advertising services, explaining how specific types of advertising can effectively promote their products or services, providing cost estimates, managing correspondence and paperwork related to accounts, delivering sales presentations, informing clients about advertising options and formats, delivering proofs for approval, preparing promotional plans and sales contracts, and recommending appropriate advertising sizes and formats. To qualify for this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field, with a master's degree or MBA being advantageous. You should possess 3-8 years of proven experience in advertising sales, business development, or a related field, preferably within the media or advertising industry. Demonstrated success in securing advertising deals and meeting revenue targets, excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in sales techniques and negotiation strategies, and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions are also essential. In terms of attitude and behavior, you should be able to work with both big/emerging and established brands, be goal-oriented, a relentless hunter, and passionate about selling.
