React Native Mobile Application Developer

Job Description

Role Overview As a Senior Mobile Application Developer, you will lead the development of cross-platform mobile applications using React Native. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless, scalable, and high-performance mobile experiences. You will play a key role in shaping our mobile architecture and mentoring junior developers. Role & responsibilities Mobile App Development: Architect, build, and maintain robust, scalable React Native applications for iOS and Android platforms. Feature Implementation: Develop advanced features such as offline support, push notifications, deep linking, and native device integrations. Performance Optimization: Profile and optimize app performance for speed, memory, and battery efficiency. App Store Deployment: Oversee the end-to-end deployment process, including CI/CD pipeline setup and release management for both Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Backend Integration: Collaborate with backend teams to design and integrate mobile-optimized APIs, authentication flows, and secure data handling. Testing & Code Quality: Establish and maintain testing protocols using Jest, Detox, and automated frameworks; conduct code reviews and uphold documentation standards. Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor junior developers, participate in agile ceremonies, and contribute to technical architecture discussions. Required Qualification 2+ years of professional React Native development experience with at least two published apps. Advanced proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+). Experience with app deployment, release management, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong knowledge of RESTful API integration, real-time data handling, and secure authentication flows. Expertise in state management (Redux, Zustand, Context API), offline-first architecture, and performance optimization. Skilled in integrating native device features and third-party services. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Experience working in agile development environments. Preferred Qualification Backend development experience (Node.js, databases). GraphQL (Apollo Client or similar) experience. Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks (Detox, Appium). DevOps experience with CI/CD tools (Fastlane, Bitrise). Analytics integration (Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.)
