Job Title: Sales Officer Company: Madhav Namkeen Bikaner Location: Bikaner, Rajasthan Job Summary: Madhav Namkeen Bikaner is looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales Officer to strengthen our presence and drive sales within the Bikaner region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with retailers, ensuring product availability, and consistently achieving sales targets for our range of delicious Namkeen products. Key Responsibilities: Retailer Relationship Management: Regularly visit assigned retail outlets (kirana stores, general stores, etc.) within Bikaner to foster strong, long-term relationships. Act as the primary point of contact for retailers, addressing their queries and providing necessary support. Sales & Order Management: Generate and book orders from existing retailers to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets (both volume and value). Identify and onboard new retail partners to expand our distribution network within the assigned territory. Promote new product launches and ensure their successful adoption by retailers. Market Presence & Merchandising: Ensure optimal product availability and visibility on retailer shelves. Work with retailers to implement promotional schemes, display materials (POSM), and merchandising initiatives effectively. Monitor stock levels at retail points to prevent out-of-stock situations. Payment & Reporting: Ensure timely collection of payments from retailers as per company policy. Maintain accurate sales records and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports on sales activities, market feedback, and competitor movements. Market Intelligence: Gather valuable insights on market trends, competitor pricing, and new product offerings to inform sales strategies. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 10th or 12th pass. A Bachelor's degree is a plus. 1-3 years of proven experience in field sales, preferably in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector, especially food or snacks. Good knowledge of the Bikaner local market, its retail landscape, and consumer behavior. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Basic mathematical ability for sales calculations and order processing. Target-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales goals. Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships. Honest, reliable, and possessing a strong work ethic. Must be willing to travel extensively within Bikaner.
