Radio Jockey

You are an enthusiastic and engaging Radio Jockey (RJ) who will be a valuable addition to our team. Your role will involve hosting live radio shows, presenting music and entertainment content, and connecting with listeners through various multimedia channels. Your innate passion for storytelling, excellent communication skills, and ability to engage with audiences will be essential for this position. Your responsibilities will include hosting live radio shows with a compelling and lively on-air presence. You will present music, news, and entertainment segments authentically and engage listeners through real-time conversations, social media interactions, and live call-ins. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing unique and creative content ideas, conducting interviews with guests from various fields, and representing the radio station at public events and promotional appearances. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience as a Radio Jockey or similar on-air role is preferred, but freshers with a vibrant personality and creative skills are also encouraged to apply. Strong command of language, charismatic personality, good knowledge of regional music and popular culture, and proficiency in social media engagement are key skills required for this position. You should be outgoing, positive, and able to connect naturally with diverse audiences. Adaptability to the station's brand voice and different show formats is crucial. Additionally, you should be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by the station's schedule.
