Quality Supervisor

Job Description

Responsibilities: Oversee and conduct product inspection, encompassing both visual & dimensional checks, ensuring adherence to specifications. Expertly handle and utilize a range of measuring instruments including Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, attribute gauges, TPG, and CMM (basic knowledge is mandatory). Apply strong knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques, as well as GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), to validate product quality. Utilize a basic understanding of Quality Standards, Inspection Reports, and Quality Plans to guide inspection activities and documentation. Ability to accurately read and interpret Blueprints/Drawings for product specifications and quality validation. Communicate daily work management updates effectively to the Client SPOC person/Project Leader, ensuring clear alignment and progress reporting. Maintain comprehensive inspection records and prepare necessary reports. Uphold high standards of work discipline, particularly concerning Safety and Quality protocols on the shop floor. Other Requirements: Adaptability, Teamwork, Growth Potential, and Prioritization skills are essential. Willingness to stay near or travel on their own to the plant location. Medically fit is mandatory for the role. Willingness to work on Rotational Shifts. Bike is mandatory for travel to and from the plant location. Local candidates are preferable. Qualifications: Proven experience in product inspection (Visual & Dimensional). Hands-on experience with specified measuring instruments. Good knowledge of inspection, measurement techniques, and GD&T. Basic understanding of Quality standards; inspection reports; Quality Plan. Ability to read Blueprints/Drawings. Good written & verbal communication skills. Basic Computer Skills (preferable).
