It offers merchandise and content purchased for resale from vendors and those offered by thirdparty sellers.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Tech II
The Top Responsibilities:
- Basic knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting (e.g., Javan, Python).
- Experience working with Android Studio, Xcode, or similar IDEs.
- Exposure to backend log analysis tools (e.g., APIs, RESTful services, or backend integration testing).
- Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to write clear test reports, email communication, and push back when necessary.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices. 6. Ability to multitask, manage shifting priorities, and operate independently under tight timelines.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Design and execute test cases for web-based workflows and tools across desktop and mobile platforms.
- Create, review, and update test cases based on new features and requirements.
- Own testing for new features from planning to release, including regression and edge case coverage.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Testrail).
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and program teams to understand functional specs and edge cases.
- Validate integration of systems and workflows related to seller onboarding, brand verification, and APOB automation.
- Contribute to improving test coverage, test effectiveness, and process efficiency.
- Perform sanity checks on production deployments and raise red flags when needed.
- Capture and analyze logs for identifying root causes of failures.
- Support automation tasks and work with the QA team to maintain existing scripts.
- Communicate clearly via email, documentation, and meetings; escalate issues appropriately with data and clarity.
Education or Certification:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 2–4 years of hands-on manual testing experience of web applications, preferably in web-based or consumer product environments.
- Experience writing test cases, executing test plans, and filing high-quality bug reports.
- Familiarity with test cycles (STLC), Agile environments, and cross-browser testing.
- Proficiency in using tools like Excel, Chrome DevTools, and test management platforms.
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to take ownership, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to provide assertive feedback and challenge assumptions constructively.
