Quality Assurance Specialist

A passionate individual who enjoys exploring new possibilities and is eager to learn from others. You should have 0-3 years of experience in software testing and application regression testing, with a strong expertise in manual testing. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing automation scripts using open-source tools. You will be expected to write test cases, execute them, and maintain relevant logs. Analyzing test results to ensure correct functionality across platforms (Android, iOS, and web) is crucial, along with highlighting any discrepancies. Participation in status meetings and communication of testing progress to the Team Lead/Manager are important aspects of the role. Identifying and preparing technical test data, executing testing cycle activities as per the test plan, logging defects, and following up on resolutions are key responsibilities. Keeping abreast of new testing tools and strategies, performing regression testing post bug fixes, maintaining test-related documentation, and archiving are essential tasks. The ideal candidate should have proficient experience in creating test cases, testing REST-based APIs and Services using tools like Postman, and conducting manual, exploratory, regression, and functional testing for websites and mobile applications. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, experience in writing automated test scripts for marketing and e-commerce websites, familiarity with testing desktop and mobile resolutions, and working knowledge of Issue and Project tracking software are desired. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
