QA Tester - Automation Testing

As a QA Automation Tester, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, or similar. Your role will involve collaborating with software developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and create test plans. You will design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Additionally, you will perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and analyze test results to identify root causes of issues, working closely with the development team to resolve defects. Your responsibilities will also include documenting and reporting test results, defects, and issues while tracking them to resolution. You will continuously improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance overall software quality. Participating in code reviews to ensure testability and quality standards will be a crucial aspect of your role. Furthermore, you should stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in software testing and automation. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Proven experience as a QA Tester with a focus on Automation Testing. - Strong knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG. - Experience with scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD. - Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Good communication and teamwork skills.
