QA Manual Tester (Software)

You will be responsible for reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. With a minimum of 6 months of experience in manual software testing, you will create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. It will be your duty to estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities, as well as to identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs. Your role will involve performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. You will liaise with internal teams such as developers and product managers to identify system requirements and monitor debugging process results. Investigating the causes of non-conforming software and training users to implement solutions will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will track quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defect counts, applying your knowledge early in the software development process. Working closely with developers, you will recognize potential operational issues, assess risks, and resolve issues before the new software cycle is complete. Staying updated with new testing tools and test strategies is necessary. The ideal candidate should have proven work experience in software quality assurance and possess strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases, as well as working in an Agile/Scrum development process, is required. Experience with performance and/or security testing is desirable, along with good communication skills.
