QA Intern

As a Quality Assurance Intern at Times Network, you will be an essential part of the team dedicated to ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test plans, detecting defects, and working closely with various teams to enhance the overall user experience. This internship opportunity is based at our Noida office in Film City, and immediate joiners are preferred. Your main responsibilities will involve developing and implementing test cases based on functional requirements, documenting defects effectively, and conducting both manual and automated testing. You will collaborate with the team to create and maintain automated test scripts if automation is required. Using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, you will log and track defects, and work alongside developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will engage with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and UX designers to ensure product quality. Participation in sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings as part of the Agile/Scrum process is essential. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating detailed test plans, test reports, and other QA documentation, and providing constructive feedback on project quality and process enhancements. For this position, we are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic knowledge of manual testing concepts, familiarity with test case creation and defect tracking tools, and an understanding of SDLC and STLC are required. Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium and TestNG is a plus. Soft skills such as attention to detail, analytical thinking, and effective communication are highly valued. Experience with SQL, API testing tools like Postman, and programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript are preferable but not mandatory.
