QA Engineer

As a Jr. QA Engineer at Zysk Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective test strategies and plans, execute manual test cases, analyze results, and identify bugs and errors. Your responsibilities will include evaluating product code, working closely with developers to provide feedback for improvements, and conducting various types of testing such as functional, integration, system, regression, and usability testing. You will create and maintain clear, concise test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Utilizing testing tools like Jira, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, and BrowserStack will be part of your daily tasks. Performing API testing, cross-browser testing, and cross-platform testing on web and mobile applications will also be a key aspect of your role. You will monitor and report on test execution progress and defect status, providing updates to project stakeholders. Staying up to date with new testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices is essential. To excel in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field along with 1-3 years of proven experience as a QA Engineer, focusing on manual testing of web and mobile applications. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, processes, and hands-on experience with test case management tools like Jira and TestRail are required. Experience in API testing, cross-browser testing, and cross-platform testing, as well as familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes, is necessary. Attention to detail, analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and teamwork skills are also essential for this position. This is a full-time on-site position at Zysk Tech in Bangalore, India. The salary for this role is competitive and negotiable based on your qualifications and experience.
