QA Engineer

You are an experienced QA Engineer with over 8 years of testing expertise, particularly in Eggplant Automation Framework. Your main responsibility is to ensure the delivery of high-quality software through both manual and automated testing processes. Your key responsibilities will include designing and executing manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing. You will be tasked with developing and maintaining automated test scripts utilizing the Eggplant Automation Framework. Additionally, you will conduct database testing using SQL queries and validations. Collaboration with development teams within Agile environments is essential, along with managing test cases and tracking defects using tools like Jira. It is crucial to uphold software quality standards and implement testing best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. The required skills for this role include a minimum of 8 years of QA engineering experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience working with the Eggplant Automation Framework. Proficiency in SQL for database testing and validation is necessary, as well as familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira. A strong grasp of software testing principles and methodologies is crucial, along with prior experience in Agile development environments.
