QA Automation Engineer

As a Test Automation Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts. Your role will involve identifying areas for automation within the software development lifecycle, as well as developing and implementing test plans and test cases. You will be required to execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects, as well as conduct regression testing to ensure bug fixes and new features function correctly. Furthermore, documenting test results and reporting findings to development teams will be an essential part of your responsibilities. Collaboration and communication are key aspects of this role. You will collaborate with development, product, and other teams to ensure quality and timely releases. Additionally, participating in code reviews and contributing to the development of testable software will be expected from you. Staying updated with the latest testing tools and technologies is also crucial. In terms of technical skills, proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript is required. Experience with testing frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG, along with knowledge of testing methodologies such as BDD and API testing, will be beneficial. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and experience with CI/CD pipelines are also essential technical skills. Soft skills are equally important for this role.
