Python Software Developer

Position: Python Developer Experience: 4+ Years Location : Remote Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Python Developer at the Team Lead level to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in Python, excellent communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset. You will be responsible for understanding and optimizing existing frameworks, fixing issues, enhancing functionality (including logging), and collaborating closely with business stakeholders to convert their needs into effective technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: Understand and analyze existing Python-based frameworks and solutions. Identify performance bottlenecks and optimization opportunities in the current system. Debug and fix issues in existing codebases with minimal supervision. Enhance code maintainability by improving logging, documentation, and structure. Interact with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements and to develop the relevant solution. Translate business problems into technical solutions and ensure successful implementation. Guide junior team members and participate in code reviews. Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and product teams. Required Skills and Qualifications: 4 to 8 years of professional experience in Python development. Strong understanding of Python frameworks and libraries. Experience in working with existing codebase and frameworks. Proficient in debugging, optimizing, and enhancing legacy systems. Solid understanding of REST APIs, data handling, and backend architecture. Experience with logging, exception handling, and performance tuning. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills ability to effectively communicate with business users and technical teams. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or other DevOps tools. Experience in Agile methodologies. Prior experience in a client-facing or stakeholder management role is an advantage.
