Job Title: Python Architect (Hands-On) Location: Remote Role Experience: 12+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview We are looking for a seasoned Python Architect who brings both deep architectural expertise and hands-on coding experience . This role is ideal for someone who has designed and implemented large-scale systems in Python and enjoys staying technically involved in the development process. You will play a key role in system architecture, technology decisions, and high-quality code delivery in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities System Architecture & Design: Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance systems using Python and related technologies. Create detailed architectural blueprints and component designs aligned with business requirements. Hands-On Development: Contribute actively to daily coding, debugging, and implementation of APIs, services, and backend logic. Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce engineering best practices. Data Engineering & Optimization: Design efficient data pipelines and workflows using Pandas , SQL , and BigQuery or similar technologies. API & Web Services: Build RESTful APIs using Flask or similar frameworks with a strong focus on performance, security, and maintainability. Database Design & Optimization: Develop robust schemas, optimize queries, and ensure high data availability and reliability. Quality & DevOps: Define and enforce code quality standards, implement automated tests (unit, integration), and support CI/CD processes. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with product, data, and DevOps teams to translate technical vision into delivery. Must-Have Qualifications 12+ years of overall software development experience with at least 5+ years in Python. Proven track record of designing and architecting complex systems at scale. Strong hands-on expertise in: Python , including deep knowledge of internals, performance optimization, and design patterns Flask , Pandas , and SQL REST API development Database architecture (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB) Experience with modern development practices: unit testing, CI/CD, code reviews. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Good to Have Experience with Angular (for collaboration with frontend teams). Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, etc.). Exposure to event-driven and microservices architectures. Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform). Background in data science or machine learning pipelines .
