Provide strategic supply chain plan and guidance for all critical equipment's. Manage various stages of the procurement, including but not limited to, identification of supplier (modules, inverters, balance of plant), EPC partners, shipping and logistics, documentation, commercial invoicing, deliveries etc. Participate in project reviews and strategize project-based purchasing, expediting, and supplier quality control to ensure project completion ahead of schedule. Preparation and issuance of RFPs to EPCs and vendor, engagement, and negotiations to finalize EPC/vendor Negotiation and finalization of EPC contract / purchase contract Keep a track of global solar market, vendor, product, technologies for all project and construction resources. Develop installer partners in various states. Develop and implement an approved global and local supplier and sub-contractor database [including pre-qualification activities Introduce vendor assessment techniques to measure performance and quality of supply [based on past projects]. Coordinate with design team to evaluate component requirements. Coordinate with project team for planning procurement Coordinate with finance team for controlling equipment costs and for equipment financing. Manage vendor commercials (quotes, negotiation, purchase orders) Performance monitoring and insurance of components. Define & implement material inspection procedures and strategies, including coordination with 3rd party inspection agencies. prioritize and manage all procurement activities using a range of sub-contracts and contract management techniques and resolve related issues/claims. Continuously improve inventory management practices, Develop and provide market intelligence; procurement and expediting status reports Maintain relationships with senior management of vendors and contractors.
