Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to handle procurement activities including vendor management, price negotiation, and order processing. The ideal candidate will ensure timely availability of quality materials and services at competitive prices while maintaining accurate records and strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate vendors based on price, quality, service, and delivery capabilities.
• Request and compare quotations, negotiate terms, and finalize purchase orders.
• Issue purchase orders (POs) and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, delivery dates, and product performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and production departments to replenish stock.
• Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, quality discrepancies, or invoice mismatches.
• Coordinate with internal departments (accounts, stores, QC) for smooth procurement operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
• Assist in vendor audits and evaluations periodically.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Business / Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in purchase or procurement role.
• Working knowledge of Tally / ERP systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for maintaining purchase data and analysis.
• Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,600.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
