Psychiatric Nurse - GNM/BSc

Role: Psychiatric NurseWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Psychiatric Nurse to join our medical team at our Coimbatore center. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting clients with psychiatric and behavioral health conditions throughout their recovery journey.Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the RMO / Psychiatrist in the assessment, treatment, and management of psychiatric clients
• Administer oral medication, depot injections, and monitor client response
• Maintain detailed nursing progress notes, vitals chart, and drug charts
• Observe and report changes in mental, emotional, or physical condition
• Participate in risk assessments and suicide watch monitoring as needed
• Collaborate with the clinical and operations teams to ensure client safety and compliance
• Provide emotional support to clients during detox, therapy, or crisis interventions
• Maintain hygiene protocols and infection control standards within clinical areas
• Handle emergency situations and escalate to the medical/clinical heads appropriately

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing / GNM with valid nursing registration
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing preferred
• Skills: Empathetic communication, crisis handling, clinical documentation, teamwork
• Language: Proficiency in Tamil and English (spoken and written)
